The CEA Board of Directors has appointed Brett Pickerign as the new Unit 4 UniServ Representative. He will represent members in Bethany, Cheshire, Milford, North Haven, Watertown, and Woodbridge.
Pickerign spent the last 13 years as executive director of the West Central Education Association in Wisconsin, where he implemented polices for the 3,300-member education employees union affiliate covering 22 school districts.
He earned a B.A. in political science from the University of Wisconsin Eau Claire, and a J.D. and Master in Education Law from the University of New Hampshire School of Law.
